Ritual of Opening to Divine Inspiration with Amethyst

Amethyst is a fundamental spiritual stone as it works with the highest energetic centers in the brain. It connects us to the high-vibrational layers of reality, which is why we will use it in this ritual to gain a completely new perspective and inspiration for solving various life challenges. Before performing this ritual, it is best to refrain from eating for at least two hours, but it’s essential that you feel comfortable.

Ritual

• In the evening or at dusk, light some candles, or if possible, start a fire.

• Lie down on a very comfortable bed, placing the amethyst just above your head, near the crown area (fontanel), and position it upward (if it has a point).

• Focus your attention on your breathing and begin to breathe faster but deeply for about 30 breaths.

• Now, concentrate on the center at the crown of your head where you likely feel the presence of the amethyst. Once you locate this area, slowly visualize a large Divine sun—Divine Source—shining and glowing above both you and the stone.

• Then, silently say, "I open myself to Divine inspiration," and follow with, "Thank you for Divine guidance." Repeat these affirmations as often as you like. As you speak these words, the amethyst will activate, becoming a luminous "antenna" or a channel from the Source to your head.

• Be mindful of how radiant beams of light flow or spiral down through the stone and into your head.

• You can aid in receiving this energy by consciously inhaling it, though there’s no need to exert any tension. The ideal course of action after this ritual is to go straight to sleep. Whether in your dreams or upon waking, new unexpected solutions, impulses, and realizations will come to you in the following days.
