Basic Description

The name "Priprioca" comes from "Piri-Piri," a legendary warrior from the Amazon rainforest. According to legend, Piri-Piri had a beautiful scent that attracted various tribes and the ability to disappear in danger. Supi, the shaman's daughter who loved him, asked her father for a spell to capture him. The shaman advised her to bind his feet with her hair during a full moon. However, Piri-Piri vanished and never returned. In the place where he disappeared, a fragrant plant named piripirioca grew, later shortened to priprioca. The Priprioca incense sticks are inspired by the vibrant essence of this mythical fruit.

These Brazilian sticks are handmade based on the original traditions and crafts of local Indigenous people. The production is subject to Fair Trade control. We are pleased to bring you this luxurious and exceptional incense fragrance through our collaboration with Inca Aromas.

Incense Burning Procedure:

1. Light the end of the stick over a candle or with a lighter, let it burn for a moment, and then blow it out.
2. The stick will start to smoke beautifully; you can place it in a holder in the room or use it to cleanse objects, spaces, or individuals.
3. To disperse the smoke, you may use an incense fan.
4. The stick will burn for a long time; if you want to extinguish it prematurely, you can place it in a sealable jar to suffocate it or dip it in a bit of water.

Important: Only place the burning stick on non-flammable surfaces! If you take the sticks outside, make sure they are in a safe location.

Charging Stones:

Burning incense sticks has a powerful effect on cleansing and charging stones. It’s the simplest way to re-energize and brighten them.
